Royal Family Media
Following a spur-of-the-moment call to a phone in on the BBC Radio Suffolk Breakfast Show in 2013, I have been really fortunate to have the opportunity to commentate on the Royal Family.
Having grown up in a family with strong royalist values for the monarchy, I have always held a keen interest in the unique contribution the Royal Family makes to our country’s heritage that is then further promoted globally through the Commonwealth.
My freelance commentating on the Royal Family has seen me cover a variety of major stories, from the births of the younger royals and royal marriages in the last decade through to unprecedented events including the scandal involving Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and the incredibly poignant events surrounding the death of Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
Over the period of national mourning, I co-presented the BBC Radio Suffolk Breakfast Show with Luke Deal and then became a roaming reporter from London during the time The Queen was lying in state in Westminster Hall and for the state funeral. With great sensitivity, I also provided commentary around significant health announcements for both His Majesty King Charles III and HRH The Princess of Wales.
